Today is the day that will decide how I live the rest of my life.
Or, maybe just the next couple of weeks. After delaying 7 or 8 days I am convinced to do the unthinkable. An act so preposterous that I shudder to focus on it, yet I can't get it off my mind. When I get home today I will take the first bold step I have taken in years. By the end of the evening I will be a loud, boisterous, happy fellow... or a mere puddle on the floor. When you stop and rethink your life, do you ever want to go back to the way you were before? Maybe I will. Maybe I'm being melodramatic. Maybe I just need a beer.
